Hola! My name's Cecilia Calvo-Lewis but ever since I started teaching in China everyone now calls me "CC". I am from the beautiful country called the Philippines but I learned how to teach (and speak!) English in the United States. I've been an English First teacher for the past two years and I think I will be teaching English for the rest of my life. I just love it! I took Education in the University of St. Thomas, I majored in English and I got an Education Masters Cert. in English as a Second Language as well. I want to know everything there is to know about learning and teaching English. I believe that I gained immense insights (not from school or books) but from the children and teachers I've worked with from the English First family, especially from my husband, Rob, the Director of Studies of English First Ningbo. My dream in life is to wander around the world with Rob and learn from it as much as I can.

Hello! My name is NeliaVorster and I am from sunny South Africa. I went to the University of Pretoria with a scholarship from the South African Department of Education to study Languages and Information Science.
I also completed a degree in Languages and Literature specializing in Creative Writing at the University of South Africa, and have a TEFL certificate.
I also have more than eight years experience in business, where I had a wide variety of business related duties, including import/export, marketing and sales.
I have been teaching in China since the beginning of 2005, and have been at EF Ningbo since December 2005.
I come from a family of teachers, and grew up helping my mother in her classroom – pretending to be the teacher. I no longer have to pretend – I am a teacher, and love it!
